The new Groove Park single “Bend Don’t Break” is in the hands of my mastering engineer following another brilliant mixing session with Jake Vicious at Vault Studio. The new song is scheduled to drop on June 30.
I think you’ll enjoy this island merengue groove about learning the values of perseverance and tolerance from the palm trees, in particular the palms on the Virgin Islands facing another hurricane season. I invited some fine St. Croix musicians to join me for the recording: vocalist Francillia Benjamin, percussionist/producer Khadijo Kwabena, and two high school stars, Alric Francis on bass and Roland Wells on drums.
